Description

Ingredients

  • Self-rising flour: 2 cups, provides structure and built-in leavening

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and kefir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Lightly knead the dough by hand for about 1 minute until smooth and no longer sticky.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each portion into a smooth ball.
  5. Place the rolls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the rolls are lightly golden and firm to the touch.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
