Description
Soft, fudgy cookies made from brownie mix and loaded with chopped candy bars and chocolate chips for an easy, indulgent dessert with rich chocolate flavor and chewy texture.
Ingredients
- Brownie mix (standard box, about 18 ounces)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Vegetable oil (1/3 cup)
- All purpose flour (2 tablespoons)
- Chocolate candy bars, chopped (1 cup)
- Chocolate chips (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil, stirring until smooth and glossy.
- Add the flour and mix gently until a thick, scoopable dough forms.
- Fold in the chopped chocolate candy bars and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers remain slightly soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
- Do not overbake, as the cookies will continue to set while cooling.
- Chop candy bars into uneven pieces for varied texture and melty pockets.
- For thicker cookies, let the dough rest for 5 minutes before scooping.
- Cookies can be reheated briefly to restore a soft, fudgy center.
