- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 small fresh red chilli, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season evenly with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through.
- Lower the heat, add the butter and red chilli flakes, and let the butter melt into a glossy sauce.
- Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, coating the shrimp evenly.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and sliced red chilli, and serve immediately.
