Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add Greek yogurt and vanilla extract to the bananas and stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Lightly flour your hands and divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Shape each into a ball and then form a bagel by poking a hole in the center.
- Place the bagels on the baking sheet and bake for 20–22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness.
- Chilling the dough can make it easier to shape.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh longer.
