Ingredients
- Frozen dumplings: 500 g
- Neutral cooking oil: 2 tablespoons
- Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic cloves: 3 cloves, minced
- Carrots: 1 cup, finely diced
- Bell pepper: 1 cup, chopped
- Mushrooms: 200 g, sliced
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Vegetable broth: 2 cups
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Black pepper: 1 teaspoon
- Green onions: 2 stalks, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the onion, garlic, carrots, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, vegetable broth, black pepper, and cornstarch mixture. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Transfer the vegetable mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange the frozen dumplings in a single layer on top of the vegetables.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the dumplings are tender and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with green onions, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
