Description

Firecracker Salmon Bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a sticky sweet-spicy glaze that makes every bite bold, comforting, and irresistibly flavorful.


Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets: 500 grams, skinless and cut into bite sized cubes
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 0.75 teaspoon
  • Black pepper: 0.5 teaspoon
  • Honey: 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Sriracha sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar: 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch: 1 teaspoon mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • Green onions: 2 tablespoons, finely sliced

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon: Place the salmon cubes in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper, then toss gently until evenly coated.
  2. Heat the skillet: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium high heat until hot.
  3. Sear the salmon: Add salmon cubes in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  4. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and the cornstarch mixture until smooth.
  5. Glaze the salmon: Reduce heat to medium, pour the sauce into the skillet, and gently toss until the sauce thickens and coats the salmon.
  6. Finish and garnish: Remove from heat and sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.
