- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup caramel chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix browned butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apple, white chocolate chips, and caramel chips.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared skillet and add extra chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is just set.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, straight from the skillet.

- Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for a more complex flavor.
- Add a pinch of flaky sea salt on top for extra flavor contrast.
