Description

Crispy golden pita stuffed with a juicy, spiced ground beef filling, cooked to perfection and bursting with Middle Eastern flavors.


Ingredients

  • 4 pita bread
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cumin until evenly mixed.
  3. Lightly brush the skillet with olive oil.
  4. Slice pita bread in half and gently open each pocket, then fill with the meat mixture and spread evenly.
  5. Place the stuffed pita onto the pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Brush lightly with olive oil for extra crispiness.
  7. Remove from heat, cut into halves or quarters, and serve warm.
