- 4 pita bread
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cumin until evenly mixed.
- Lightly brush the skillet with olive oil.
- Slice pita bread in half and gently open each pocket, then fill with the meat mixture and spread evenly.
- Place the stuffed pita onto the pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Brush lightly with olive oil for extra crispiness.
- Remove from heat, cut into halves or quarters, and serve warm.
