- 1 to 2 tablespoons water, as needed
Instructions
- Add the avocado, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and 1 tablespoon of water into a blender or food processor.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds.
- Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula to ensure everything blends evenly.
- Continue blending for another 15 to 30 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
- Check the consistency and add the remaining tablespoon of water if needed, then blend briefly again.
- Taste and adjust salt if necessary.
- Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container.

- Use a perfectly ripe avocado for the smoothest texture.
- Press plastic wrap directly against the surface before refrigerating to reduce browning.
