Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas, then mix in melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before adding frosting if desired.
- Slice into squares and serve.
