Description

Crispy fries topped with juicy chicken and coated in a creamy, sweet and spicy sauce, finished with fresh green onions for a lighter take on a comfort food favorite.


Ingredients

  • 400 grams frozen fries
  • 300 grams boneless chicken pieces
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Line a baking sheet and spread frozen fries in a single layer.
  4. Place seasoned chicken pieces on another tray or alongside the fries if space allows.
  5. Bake fries and chicken for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Toss the cooked chicken in the prepared sauce until fully coated.
  7. Layer the chicken over the fries and drizzle extra sauce on top.
  8. Sprinkle chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cook fries in a single layer for best crispiness.
  • Add sauce just before serving to keep fries from getting soggy.
