- 1 cup berry jam
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- A few drops pink food coloring
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl mix warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add eggs, melted butter, and salt. Stir well.
- Gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut rounds using a donut cutter or round glass.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F.
- Fry the donuts in batches until golden brown on both sides, about 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer to paper towels and allow them to cool slightly.
- Use a piping bag to fill each donut with berry jam.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and pink food coloring to create a smooth glaze.
- Dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze and allow it to set.
Notes
- Make sure the oil temperature stays around 350°F for even frying.

- Add a drop of vanilla extract to the glaze for extra flavor.
