- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon agave syrup
- 1/2 cup sparkling water
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
Instructions
- Chill your serving glass in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
- In a shaker, add blueberries, basil leaves, lime juice, lime zest, and agave syrup.
- Gently muddle the mixture until the blueberries release their juices and the basil becomes fragrant.
- Add ice cubes to the shaker, then pour in the sparkling water.
- Shake lightly to combine everything without losing the fizz.
- Rim your glass with lime and dip it into coarse salt, then strain the mixture into the glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a few blueberries and a lime wedge, then serve immediately.
