Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs with parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Dip chicken cutlets into eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Fry chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Transfer chicken to a baking dish, top with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
