Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix browned butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Prepare a quick crumb topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, and cold butter, then sprinkle over the loaf.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
