Ingredients
- Pizza dough: 1 ball (250 g)
- Fresh burrata cheese: 200 g
- Cherry tomatoes: 200 g, halved
- Mozzarella cheese: 100 g, shredded
- Fresh basil leaves: 15 g
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 0.5 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 240 C and place a baking stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
- Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a 30 cm circle, keeping the edges slightly thicker.
- Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Scatter the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough.
- Distribute the halved cherry tomatoes evenly on top.
- Transfer the pizza to the hot baking surface and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the crust is golden.
- Remove from the oven and gently tear the burrata over the hot pizza.
- Finish with fresh basil leaves and a light drizzle of olive oil before serving.
Notes
- Add the burrata after baking to keep its creamy texture.
- Use room temperature dough for easier shaping and better crust texture.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven to maintain crispness.
