Description
Crisp, buttery cookie sticks dipped in smooth milk chocolate. These elegant, bite-sized treats are perfect for gifting, snacking, or pairing with your favorite hot drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and salt, then slowly mix in the flour until the dough forms.
- Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into long rectangular strips (about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long). Place them gently onto your prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler. Dip each cooled cookie halfway into the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off, and lay on parchment to set.
- Once the chocolate is set, serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor and texture.
- Top with sprinkles, crushed nuts, or edible glitter before the chocolate sets for decoration.
- Store in a cool, dry place to keep the chocolate firm.
