Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 large chicken pieces, sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken pieces evenly with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet, then cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and let it gently simmer.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Cook pasta until al dente, then transfer it into the sauce and toss well.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and place it over the pasta. Sprinkle parsley and extra parmesan on top.
