- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 large chicken pieces, sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken pieces evenly with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet, then cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and let it gently simmer.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Cook pasta until al dente, then transfer it into the sauce and toss well.
- Slice the cooked chicken and place it over the pasta. Sprinkle parsley and extra parmesan on top.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
