Description
Juicy beef cubes threaded on skewers with layers of perfectly melted cheese, seasoned simply and cooked until tender, savory, and irresistibly gooey.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into thick strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F or heat a grill pan over medium high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper, tossing until evenly coated.
- Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly oil a grill pan.
- Thread the beef and cheese onto skewers, alternating pieces so the cheese sits between the beef.
- Cook in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or grill for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and let the skewers rest for 2 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- Cut the beef and cheese into similar sizes for even cooking.
- Avoid overcooking to keep the cheese melty and the beef juicy.
- Let the skewers rest briefly before serving for the best texture.
