Instructions
- Place a saucepan on medium heat and prepare all ingredients.
- Add cherries, sugar, and 1 cup of water into the saucepan.
- Stir gently and let the mixture simmer until the cherries soften and release their juices.
- Strain the cherry mixture into a pitcher, pressing lightly to extract all liquid.
- In the remaining hot water, steep the tea bags for about 5 minutes, then remove them.
- Combine the tea with the cherry syrup, add lemon slices, and stir well.
- Chill in the refrigerator, then serve over ice and enjoy.
