Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Place a saucepan on medium heat and prepare all ingredients.
  2. Add cherries, sugar, and 1 cup of water into the saucepan.
  3. Stir gently and let the mixture simmer until the cherries soften and release their juices.
  4. Strain the cherry mixture into a pitcher, pressing lightly to extract all liquid.
  5. In the remaining hot water, steep the tea bags for about 5 minutes, then remove them.
  6. Combine the tea with the cherry syrup, add lemon slices, and stir well.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator, then serve over ice and enjoy.
