- 1 round sourdough loaf, unsliced
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Place the sourdough loaf on the baking sheet and cut deep crisscross slices into it without cutting through the bottom.
- Stuff shredded mozzarella into all the slices, then drizzle garlic butter evenly into all the cuts.
- Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and top is golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle extra parsley on top, serve warm, and enjoy!
