Description

Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and allow it to fully heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then mix in melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  4. Add all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet mixture, gently folding until just combined without overmixing.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  7. Slice and serve slightly warm or at room temperature.
