Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F or heat oil in a deep pot if frying.
- In a small bowl combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Cut the russet potatoes into even fry shaped strips.
- Toss the potato strips with vegetable oil until evenly coated.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Immediately sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the hot fries and toss gently.
- Warm the cheddar cheese sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Serve the seasoned fries hot with warm cheddar cheese sauce for dipping.
