- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pounds potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and roast garlic cloves until soft and golden.
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steak cubes with salt and pepper, then add to the hot skillet.
- Sear steak for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned, then toss with the prepared butter until coated.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with roasted garlic and warm milk until smooth.
- Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes and drizzle extra butter on top before serving.
