Description

Sweet corn on the cob coated in a rich, creamy Alfredo-style sauce with garlic, parmesan, and a hint of paprika for a comforting and flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears corn on the cob
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and let it gently simmer.
  4. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add paprika, salt, and black pepper, then let the sauce thicken slightly.
  6. Boil the corn until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the corn and coat each cob generously with the creamy sauce.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley and extra parmesan on top, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh corn for the best sweetness and texture.
  • Keep the sauce on low heat to prevent it from separating.
  • Add a splash of cream when reheating to maintain a smooth consistency.
