  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, then add the diced onion and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
