- 2 packs instant ramen noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Bring a saucepan of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving a small amount of noodle water.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, milk, soy sauce, sugar, chili flakes, and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.
- Add the cooked noodles into the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Reduce heat and stir in mozzarella and parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Turn off the heat and quickly mix in the egg yolk, stirring continuously to create a silky sauce. Add a splash of reserved noodle water if needed.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
