Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups chicken pieces
- 16 ounces potato gnocchi
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
- Stir in the butter and minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream and stir well to combine.
- Add the potato gnocchi and allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 5 minutes until the gnocchi become tender and the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the freshly grated parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve warm.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest and creamiest sauce.
- Keep the heat moderate to prevent the cream from separating.
- Leftovers can be reheated with a splash of broth or cream to loosen the sauce.
