- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them into the skillet.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides, then add tomato sauce and let them simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth.
- Cook spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions.
- Toss the spaghetti into the sauce, adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
- Serve hot topped with meatballs, extra parmesan, and parsley.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for better melting and flavor.
- Do not overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
- Add pasta water gradually to adjust sauce consistency.
- Simmer the sauce gently to avoid curdling the cream.
