Description

Tender chicken pieces coated in a creamy, sweet chilli sauce, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken thighs, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. In a bowl, mix sweet chilli sauce, heavy cream, soy sauce, and lime juice until smooth.
  3. Ensure the skillet is hot and add chicken pieces, cooking until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Pour in the sauce mixture and simmer for 5-7 minutes until chicken is cooked and sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, stir in spring onions, and adjust lime juice as needed.
  6. Serve with rice or noodles and drizzle extra sauce over the top.
