Description

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 120 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
