Description

Ingredients

  • Potato gnocchi – 500 g
  • Olive oil – 45 ml
  • Garlic cloves – 4 medium (about 12 g), finely minced
  • Grated Parmesan-style cheese – 50 g
  • Cornstarch – 15 g
  • Salt – 6 g
  • Black pepper – 3 g
  • Dried Italian herbs – 5 g
  • Fresh parsley – 10 g, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle boil. Add the potato gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, usually about 2 minutes after they float. Drain thoroughly and let steam-dry for 5 minutes.
  2. Transfer the gnocchi to a mixing bowl. Add cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a wide skillet over medium-high heat. Add the gnocchi in a single layer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until deeply golden and crispy.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Sprinkle with grated cheese, toss gently until melted, then remove from heat and finish with fresh parsley.
