Description
Crispy Parmesan Chicken smothered in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce — comfort food at its finest, ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and half the Italian seasoning.
- Coat each thigh with grated parmesan cheese, pressing it into the surface.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken thighs for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat. Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir gently to combine and scrape up any brown bits. Add remaining Italian seasoning.
- Simmer sauce for 3–5 minutes, then add extra parmesan if desired.
- Return chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over, and let simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.
- Don’t overcrowd the skillet when searing chicken.
- Let chicken rest after searing to retain juiciness.
- Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of cream or broth.
