- 2 stalks green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Set your slow cooker to low heat to preheat.
- In a bowl, mix together orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
- Lightly grease the slow cooker and place the chicken thighs in a single layer.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2.5–3 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Remove 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid and mix it with the cornstarch to make a slurry.
- Stir the slurry back into the slow cooker and cook for an additional 15–20 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
