Ingredients

- 2 large croissants
- 300 grams ground beef
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and mustard until smooth and set aside.
- Add butter to the pan and let it melt evenly.
- Slice croissants in half and toast them lightly in the pan, then set aside.
- Place ground beef in the pan, smash it flat, season with salt and pepper, cook until crispy edges form, flip and add cheese until melted.
- Spread sauce on the croissant, add lettuce, tomato, and the cheesy patty.
- Close the croissant and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use high heat for a crispy crust on the patty.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while cooking.
- Lightly stale croissants hold structure better.
