Description

A crispy, golden chicken Caesar sandwich layered with fresh romaine, creamy homemade dressing, and parmesan, all stacked between toasted bread for the perfect balance of crunch and richness.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread, toasted
  • 2 breaded chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, anchovy paste, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Add a small amount of oil to the skillet.
  4. Cook the breaded chicken cutlets until golden and crispy on both sides, then let them rest.
  5. Lightly toss the chopped romaine lettuce with some of the dressing and parmesan cheese.
  6. Toast the bread slices until lightly crisp.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by layering chicken, dressed lettuce, extra parmesan, and additional dressing between the toasted bread slices.
