Description

A rich and creamy baked mac and cheese elevated with truffle oil, topped with golden breadcrumbs and parmesan for the perfect balance of indulgence and comfort.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon truffle oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook the elbow pasta in salted boiling water until just al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream and stir, then mix in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well, then stir in the truffle oil.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Top with breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
  9. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
