- Udon noodles – 14 oz
- Beef sirloin, thinly sliced – 12 oz
- Broccoli florets – 2 cups
- Soy sauce – 1/3 cup
- Oyster sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil – 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic cloves, minced – 3 cloves
- Fresh ginger, grated – 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch – 1 tablespoon
- Water – 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium high heat and add vegetable oil.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook quickly until just browned.
- Add broccoli florets and stir for 1 to 2 minutes until bright green.
- Add cooked udon noodles to the skillet.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and toss everything together.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles evenly.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.
Notes
- Slice the beef very thin for the most tender texture.
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water to loosen it.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste if you prefer a less salty dish.
