Description

Crispy air fryer chicken fajita wraps filled with juicy seasoned chicken, sautéed peppers, onions, and melted cheddar cheese. These golden toasted wraps are quick, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknight dinners or easy meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs, sliced thinly
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 3 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced chicken, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion, olive oil, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat everything evenly.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  4. Warm the tortillas slightly, then divide the chicken mixture and shredded cheddar cheese evenly among the tortillas. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly into wraps.
  5. Place the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops with oil.
  6. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Let the wraps rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve warm with salsa, sour cream, or lime wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Warm tortillas before rolling to prevent cracking.
  • Do not overfill the wraps or they may open while cooking.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for the crispiest texture.
