Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, toss chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add olive oil to the hot pan, then place chicken in a single layer. Sear undisturbed for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium. In the same pan, add butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in garlic butter. Let it cook for another minute.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and stir to combine.
- Serve hot over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
Notes
- Pat chicken dry before searing for better browning.
- Don’t burn the garlic—sauté gently over medium heat.
- Add a splash of lemon juice for extra brightness if desired.
