Description

Creamy, cheesy garlic parmesan rigatoni tossed with tender seared steak pieces. A comforting, rich pasta dish perfect for cozy nights or special dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces rigatoni pasta
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to the skillet and sear steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in grated parmesan until the sauce thickens.
  5. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and reserve some pasta water.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to coat. Return steak to the skillet and heat through.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best melt and flavor.
  • Reserve some pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
  • Let steak rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
