Description

A creamy and vibrant pasta salad made with pesto, tender shrimp, juicy tomatoes, savory sausage, and rich burrata for a fresh yet comforting dish.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spiral pasta
  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup sausage slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the spiral pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic, shrimp, and sausage slices, cooking until the shrimp turns pink and the sausage is lightly browned.
  5. Add cherry tomatoes and cook briefly until slightly softened.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, pesto sauce, and fresh basil leaves.
  7. Gently fold in the shrimp and sausage mixture along with the burrata cheese.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
