Description

A hearty and comforting bowl inspired by classic fast food flavors, featuring crispy oven-baked fries topped with seasoned ground beef, fresh lettuce, tangy pickles, shredded cheese, and a creamy homemade special sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Toss the cut potatoes with vegetable oil and half of the salt until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. While the fries cook, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with the remaining salt and black pepper.
  5. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  6. Prepare the lettuce and pickles and set aside.
  7. Assemble by layering fries in bowls, topping with beef, lettuce, pickles, shredded cheese, and drizzling with sauce.

Notes

  • For crispier fries, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
  • Let the sauce rest for a few minutes to enhance flavor.
  • Store components separately for best leftovers.
