Description

Creamy, cheesy gnocchi tossed in a rich Korean-inspired sauce with crispy ground beef and a hint of spice, perfect for a comforting yet bold meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams gnocchi
  • 250 grams ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, gochujang, soy sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned and slightly crispy, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Boil gnocchi until they float, then transfer directly to the skillet.
  6. Pour in the sauce mixture and stir gently to combine.
  7. Add shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  8. Let the sauce thicken slightly, then top with sliced green onions.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the gnocchi, remove them as soon as they float.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for smoother melting.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
  • Reheat with a splash of cream to maintain texture.
