Description

These Mini Caprese Skewers combine cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil for a vibrant, no-cook appetizer. Finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, they’re easy, elegant, and perfect for entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces mozzarella balls (ciliegine or bocconcini)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain and pat dry mozzarella balls.
  2. Place tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in separate bowls for easy access.
  3. Take a skewer or toothpick and slide on a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball. Repeat if space allows.
  4. Continue until all ingredients are used.
  5. Arrange skewers on a platter.
  6. Drizzle lightly with balsamic glaze.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use a squeeze bottle for neat glaze drizzling.
  • Keep mozzarella chilled before assembling.
