Description

Rich and creamy Nutella Sea Salt Fudge made with chocolate hazelnut spread, smooth melted chocolate, and a touch of flaky sea salt for the perfect sweet and salty bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Line an 8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper so the fudge can be removed easily later.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the Nutella, butter, and chocolate chips together, stirring constantly until smooth and glossy.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the warm chocolate mixture and stir thoroughly until the mixture becomes thick and smooth.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan using a spatula.
  6. Sprinkle sea salt flakes evenly over the surface while the fudge is still soft.
  7. Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour, then refrigerate for another hour until fully set.
  8. Lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into 16 squares before serving.

Notes

  • For cleaner cuts, chill the fudge fully before slicing and wipe the knife between cuts.
  • Flaky sea salt works best because it adds bursts of flavor without making the dessert too salty.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • This fudge can also be frozen for up to two months.
