Description

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat and let it warm up.
  2. Add olive oil, then sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground meat and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and diced tomatoes, mixing well to combine.
  5. Break the lasagna pasta sheets into pieces and layer them into the sauce.
  6. Cover and let simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is tender.
