Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken thighs (boneless, skinless)
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. Lower heat to medium and melt butter in the same pan. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up brown bits from the pan. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Uncover, stir sauce gently, and simmer another 2 minutes to thicken slightly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for a smooth, creamy sauce.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little kick.
  • If sauce gets too thick, add a splash of cream or broth to loosen it up.
