Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 4 slices Sourdough or Texas Toast
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat and the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper; coat chicken breasts thoroughly.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in the skillet.
  4. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Mix remaining butter with minced garlic and spread onto bread slices.
  6. Toast bread in the oven or a separate pan until crispy and golden.
  7. Serve chicken alongside or on top of the garlic toast, garnished with parsley.
