- 2 large ripe persimmons, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Place a metal mixing bowl and beaters in the fridge or freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
- In the chilled bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Slice persimmons thinly and toast chopped nuts in a dry pan for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
- Layer persimmon slices on a serving plate, add a dollop of whipped cream, and repeat if desired.
- Chill assembled dessert in the fridge for 10 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Sprinkle toasted nuts and cinnamon (if using) on top. Optional: add a pinch of flaky sea salt.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
